Animex Take Two Workshops

We are delighted to showcase these videos highlighting what a great place Middlesbrough is to live and study and be involved in digital and animation industries.

My Favourite Place videos were created in Animex Take Two workshops set up and run by Gazillion Productions Ltd, Animex International Animation Festival, Teesside University and Middlesbrough Extended Schools.

The animations produced in the workshops are based on the student's favourite place in Middlesbrough ranging from Akbar's restaurant to Stewart Park from Cineworld to mima.

Come to Animex 2010, Middlesbrough's International Festival of Animation and Computer Games 8-12 February and visit some of these favourite places.

One of the famous places to visit is the marvellous Transporter Bridge as there are only two left in the world you will definitely enjoy this experience.

If you just want to relax Middlesbrough offers you the best beaches in England. Go to Redcar, you can lie in the sand or watch the sun go down. Redcar is the best place for ice-cream, visit Pacittos and try the lemon tops. If you want something more salty you must have the gorgeous fish and chips they're absolutely tasty.

Or if you're more energetic visit Middlesbrough town. Watch a movie at Cineworld or try some of Middlesbrough's fast-food. This is Middlesbrough life.

Sports fanatics will love the Riverside Stadium and the many sport and leisure centres.

If you're a tourist you will enjoy taking a stroll up to Roseberry Topping Hill, which was once a volcano.

Hike to the top of the breath taking Roseberry Topping. Situated near the Topping is Captain Cook's monument which is a tribute to our amazing locally born sailor, Captain James Cook.

Your heart will be stolen by Middlesbrough's fabulous food. Middlesbrough is the place you want to be.

Some of the many highlights of the fantastic Middlesbrough are the modern architecture of the MIMA Art Gallery, and the unique views from Roseberry Topping, a huge hill loved by local walkers and hikers. Also you must visit the Transporter Bridge, the only bridge of its kind in the world.

If you like football then you will have to visit the fantastic stadium of the Middlesbrough Football Club. Then after you've watched a match or had a tour, go to the MFC Football shop in the Middlesbrough Captain Cooks Square.

If you're looking for a night out with friends, the Middlesbrough nightlife is a unique experience just made for you. Then after a long night of fun, go to any local restaurant or takeaway and enjoy Middlesbrough's signature dish, parmesan and chips!

Middlesbrough is the owner of the one and only Transporter Bridge, the only one that works. When you're done with that amazing site come and see our wonderful parks. Your children can go fishing in the beck, play climb trees, its just too wonderful. Take the time to come and see.

If you're a person for walking then take a stroll across the rolling hills of Yorkshire. You will be put in a trance I guarantee. After that fantastic walk I expect you will be hungry, I suggest our delicious fish and chips, the taste is breathtaking! After that filling meal why not come to our museums, most of them are filled with history.

As soon as you are finished that long and exciting day go and stay at the Marton Hotel. they will treat you well. I hope to see you soon!
