Captain Cook Square, one of Tees Valley most unique shopping destinations, marks 10 years of success.
Lynn Stainsby General Manager said: “It’s been an incredible ten years since Captain Cook Square first opened in Middlesbrough as the only outdoor shopping centre. In that time the Square has gone from strength to strength, never standing still as we’ve sought to continually improve year after year.
“It’s been a difficult 18 months for retail and the high street has suffered because of the recession. We are delighted to be able to announce Captain Cook Square is fully let and as a result we continue to offer our customers a great variety of retailers with each representing good value for money.”
“New retailers to have arrived at Captain Cook Square in the birthday year include Café M, Au Naturale and Ethel Austin making the square fully occupied.”
“Over the years, more than 100 million shoppers have poured over our thresh-hold to experience Captain Cook Square and Feel Good Shopping. As shopping has become the number one leisure past-time in the country, we have continually strived to provide the very best place to shop, eat and have fun." Added Lynn.
