The Business Ambassadors Club for the lovemiddlesbrough campaign was launched at the Middlesbrough Business Forum Breakfast Exchange at Sassari restaurant on May 28th.
Business were encouraged to sign up to support the lovemiddlesbrough campaign.
Claire Wordsworth, Image Campaign Manager explains: "The Business Ambassadors Club aims to attract major influencers to support the campaign, spread positive messages and adopt the Love Middlesbrough branding."
A recently formed steering group made up of public and private sector representatives is sure to help the campaign develop and grow.
Claire Wordsworth adds: "The Ambassadors Steering group members bring with them many contacts and a wealth of experience about doing business in Middlesbrough. Together they will be a positive lobbying group for the town and help amplify the brand faster."

We are looking to recruit Business Ambassadors to spread positive messages about living, working, learning,visiting, doing business and investing in Middlesbrough.
You might be able to influence the media, come up with a suggestion, provide positive news stories or interesting facts.
Examples of what some ambassadors have been doing:
Graham Ramsay from Ten Feet Tall coordinated the effort to name the main stage at Middlesbrough Music Live the lovemiddlesbrough stage. All ambassadors will receive a monthly e-newsletter.
Business Ambassadors will receive a toolkit consisting of a USB portable pen drive containing useful content about Middlesbrough, as well as printed materials.
