The only working bridge of its kind in England. This unique bridge which dominates the skyline was originally designed to allow tall ships to pass underneath. Opened in 1911 the gondola of the bridge moves across the River Tees ferrying pedestrians and cars. The Transporter Bridge is also the only Bridge in the UK that is licensed for Bungee Jumping.
