Town Parks

Middlesbrough has a variety of prestigious award-winning town parks and green spaces complete with animals and visitor attractions. Many of the parks sprung up in the industrial period and are connected with impressive, enterprising people from the town like Captain Cook and Henry Bolckow (an industrialist and town mayor). Local people are still very fond of the parks today. Escape the noise of town life and spend some time feeding the animals, running around and watching the sky.
