Developed by the founder of Middlesbrough, Henry Bolckow and opened in 1868, Albert Park is a Grade 2 listed park that contains many features to keep the kids quiet including a roller skating rink, boating lake, bowling greens, tennis courts, café, play areas and historic attractions.
The grounds of the former Marton Hall, Stewart Park is Middlesbrough's largest informal park with large areas of open space, lakes, ponds, animal enclosures, woodland glades and wildlife. It also features some great facilities and attractions including the Captain Cook Birthplace Museum, a discovery wood, orienteering trail, children's play area, café, pet's corner and a large programme of events including the Cleveland Show.
