A new festival has been launched to celebrate the huge array of entertainment, cultural activities, sport and leisure activities on offer in Middlesbrough.

A range of exciting events has been lined up for the festival, including the annual Heritage Open Days, outdoor activities, arts and events, exhibitions, tours and interactive workshops.

From Saturday September 6th to Thursday September 25th Discover Middlesbrough celebrates the past, present and future of life in our town, from the Middlesbrough Town Meal to Powerboat Trips, and the Supergay Weekend to Heritage Open Days.

The festival is guaranteed to capture the imagination, with something on offer to suit all ages, pockets and tastes.
