There's a fantastic Golf opportunity for charity too!

New and experienced golfers are invited to drive for £5 on Wednesday 25th August at the Middlesbrough Municipal Golf Centre.

All income and donations will go to the Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research Charity who are celebrating 50 years of charity fundraising. This Charity was first established in Middlesbrough and is now a nationwide organisation.

For new and novice players who are not ready for the course, our partner, Snainton Golf, will be offering free expert tuition in 1/2 hour lessons in groups of 4 people from 1pm to 6pm, subject to booking.

All tee's will be booked for 4 people and the format will be single stapleford rules. Players with no handicap are welcome to play in the competition or to just enjoy the round!

There is a prize for the best round, under stapleford rules, of a £50 golf voucher from the Municipal Golf Centre and a £50 voucher from Snainton Golf for the Driving Range and lessons.

There will also be a raffle to win a golf season ticket valid from September to April 2011 which will be drawn on the day.
