Built in AD 80, the Colosseum was a giant arena for the famed gladiatorial battles of Rome. This exhibition looks at how the arena was built and explores the life and times of the gladiators who fought there. This brand new touring exhibition gets its first national showing at the Dorman Museum.

Nearest major road is A66. From the A66 or the A19 head for Middlesbrough town centre. Dorman is located on Linthorpe Road and is brown signed from the town centre.

Public Transport Directions

Nearest station is Middlesbrough Station. Exit onto Albert Road and walk towards the town centre and university. Turn right onto Borough Road the left along Linthorpe Road.
