Holliger starts on the podium with Weberns magical miniature Five Pieces. The ever popular Italian Symphony of Mendelssohn full of all the Mediterranean colour and excitement of Italian life. Finally this is a rare opportunity to hear Schumanns extraordinary work for four horns and orchestra.
