Middlesbrough Theatre presents the Michael Friend production of Damsels in Distress, two interlinked comedies by Alan Ayckbourn.
Justin and Julie-Ann - both in computers but hopelessly mismatched in love - are about to introduce their repective parents to each other over dinner. Into this delicate situation a ganster's moll literally drops in from the flat above. When her gun-toting minder arrives and refuses to leave without her, the couple's meticulously planned evening is thrown into blissfully comic chaos and family relations will never be the same again.
