The Motown Show Celebrating the Music of Motown Legends The Four Tops and The Temptations
This slick, high-energy recreation of the 60s and 70s Motown era, celebrates two of its finest groups, along with many other legendary artists from the great Tamla Motown stable. This show is crammed full of all your favourite hits from the Four Tops and The Temptations as well as other famous Motown artists such as Smokey Robinson, Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder.
The Motown Show is backed and supported by the superb Peter Brent Orchestra, a fantastic 8-piece band including a 4-piece horn section. And don’t forget all that fancy footwork: the choreography of this show is something else!

Road Directions
From the A19 take the A1130 (signposted Acklam/Middlesbrough)
At the roundabout take the second exit up Mandale Road.
At the T-junction by the Coronation pub, turn left onto Acklam Road.
At the traffic lights, turn right into Green Lane.
Continue past the College of Art and Design and take the fifth turning on the left into the Avenue.
The route is signposted throughout with the brown “mask” signs (although the one on Acklam Road indicating the right turn into Green Lane is slightly obscured by a bus shelter and can easily be missed).
Public Transport Directions
Busses run regularly from Middlesbrough Bus Station to Middlesbrough Theatre, The Avenue.
