The famous Liverpool Lantern Company create a spectacular community based carnival on 13 December bringing light, magic, wonder and fairytale to the streets of Middlesbrough starting at 4 pm.
Lanterns made by local audiences become part of a beautiful illuminated installation and backdrop to the inale event, a firework display celebrating winter and the festive season in Centre Square.
If you would like to get involved in lantern making sessions join the Carnival Club for ages 7+ at Middlesbrough Town Hall. Contact 01642 729 729.
