Seriously Dead Cast

It's the play that rocked the nation with laughter when it first went out on tour – and if you didn’t catch Seriously Dead the first time round, well, don’t miss out this time.

Starring Crissy Rock (Benidorm and I’m a Celebrity), Tommy Cannon (Cannon and Ball) and comedian Billy Pearce this is surely one play not to be missed!

Seriously Dead is an up-lifting tale guaranteed to make you feel there is nothing serious about being dead at all, because life’s party never ends: it simply moves to another location.

The play tells the hilarious tale of Thelma Henderson deceased who cannot gain entry through The Pearly Gates as the system has gone digitalised and she has the incorrect paperwork.

Thelma is told to wait by the scrapyard gates until the issue can be resolved but she finds herself a rather reluctant Guardian Angel watching over her school friend and the one true love of her life, Billy Blenkinsopp.

Seriously Dead takes to the Middlesbrough Theatre stage on Friday, May 11 and curtain up is at 7.30pm.

Crissy Rock and the team behind Seriously Dead return in June with Dirty Dusting by local playwrights Ed Waugh and Trevor Woods.

A chance wrong number, gives three cleaning ladies, a great idea ‘Why not run a sex chat line?’ after all, their age and appearance won’t matter on the phone and providing they can keep this a secret from their boss, they could be on to a winner.

This is a heart-warming, feel good comedy which will have you rolling in the aisles and smiling every time you answer the phone. Dirty Dusting is a sex chat line that really cleans up.
