World Cup in Centre Square

Footie fans looking for an outdoor venue for England’s first World Cup knock-out game are invited to Centre Square.

All the action from the round of 16 clash with Colombia will be shown on a big screen, with gates open at 5pm on Tuesday (July 3) ahead of the 7pm kick-off.

Early birds will be able to take advantage of picnic benches and deck chairs, while those attending are advised to bring their own blankets and camping chairs.

Hot food, ice cream and soft drinks will be available on site, and additional entertainment will include arts and crafts and games.

World Cup 2018, England v Colombia, Centre Square. Gates open 5pm, kick-off 7pm.



Eid in the Park

On Tuesday the 21st of August, Albert Park in Middlesbrough will play host to the annual Muslim celebration of Eid ul Adha for only the second time in Middlesbrough’s history. The event, which has been organised by local Muslims aims to bring Muslims together to offer their Eid prayer in the park.
