Flinn is back!  Les Petits theatre company return to the high seas after their hugely successful shows David Walliams’ The First Hippo on the Moon and Captain Flinn and the Pirate Dinosaurs.

The Magic Cutlass is the hugely anticipated sequel based on the award-winning book by Giles Andreae and Russell Ayto.

When Flinn, Pearl and Tom are in the middle of their school play their old nemesis, Mr T the T-Rex, appears and kidnaps the children forcing them to hunt for the secretive Magic Cutlass; a sword that grants the holder any wish!  The children are whisked away for another fantastic adventure to a world of devious dinosaurs, deep sea dangers and smelly sausages! It’s all aboard, me hearties, for a real live pirate adventure!

Will fearless Flinn be able to outwit the pirate dinosaurs?  Will Pirate Pearl be brave enough to battle the dangerous dinos and will terrified Tom be back in time for Tea?  All aboard for a non-stop action packed theatrical experience with live music, puppetry and dastardly dinosaurs!

Middlesbrough Theatre

Middlesbrough Theatre has quite a remarkable history. From it's conception in the late 1920's to its opening as the first architect-designed theatre to be built after the Second World War - it is the result of a 27-year dream and the unswerving dedication of theatre lovers in Middlesbrough.

Middlesbrough Theatre has an intimacy that belies its 486 seat capacity. A winning combination that has enabled the theatre to play host to a wide variety of performances from big bands and stand-up comedy to full-scale amateur musicals and Indian dance.

Middlesbrough Theatre continues to serve its community hosting performances from leading actors and renowned companies as well as by providing first class facilities to local amateur operatic and dramatic societies as well as young students from local dance schools and performing arts colleges.

Access

The Theatre can accommodate up to six wheelchairs per performance, one free ticket will be issued for each companion. We regret that access to the bar is via stairs: drinks may be ordered and collected from the ground floor kiosk.

An infra-red system is available for the hard of hearing using discreet headsets, which are available from the box office.
